Theatre Review: Pussyfooting (2 stars)

In what I think is intended as an absurdist comedy, a group of women find they are no longer in control of their feet. With chalk designs on mini blackboards as props, and costumes to match, it’s an imaginative production that has a great look.

Unfortunately, over-acting from the young performers can’t compensate for a story that doesn’t develop beyond the initial set-up.

Quite why it’s predominately women that end up with these “magic” feet, with the men left trying to rein them in, is unclear. But you do get a pair of free socks – which is nice.
